We Love Concrete
When I got into work this morning, it was hard to find parking.
Not only were Matt and Sarah from Elliott Architects stopping by to check in, but there was a large concrete truck, and concrete pouring truck waiting to begin their work.
Before today, I had never thought about how concrete is poured. I had a vague image in my head of a man with a wheelbarrow, but after seeing the scope of what the workers were pouring, and the fact that according to Chris, there are going to be two more days in the future with just as much coming in, it makes sense that a man with a wheelbarrow wasn’t going to cut it.
As for the parking situation, stay tuned! During this project there will be days that the library parking lot will be full of trucks and construction vehicles, but we will do our best to keep you informed about the situation. In the meantime, if there’s space, continue to use the lot as normal, the construction itself will not be spilling over. Until next week!
