With spirits undampened by drizzle, on Wednesday afternoon we were joined by some 100 Friend and Brooklin boosters as we broke ground for our expansion.

Back in February, when the board began deciding when we would break ground, we figured that it would be a ceremonial event. That we would be able to say “we broke ground!” but that the timing wouldn’t line up with Blue Ledge, or with Astbury’s schedule. But sometimes, the stars align.
